What Am I Thankful For?

Each year I try to use this time of year to reflect on what has happened and what I want to see coming into the new year.

This year I have to say I'm so very grateful for my family and friends, who pretty much are family. They have given me the most amazing support this year. I couldn't have made it through some difficult times without them.

Some days I feel very isolated and alone, but being able to text and call these amazing people has given me a light to follow when all hope was lost.

As I grow older I realize it's difficult to make true friends. Yes, it does happen, but it's difficult. There's so many responsibilities that everyone has that it isn't always cohesive to plan outings and gatherings and to build those relationships. That doesn't mean people still can't come into my life, I just lean on the ones already there.

So, to my amazing group, thank you for being you and for being there for me when I needed you. You are absolutely amazing!!!
