Give Me More Gilmore Girls
I can’t tell you how excited I was to hear about Netflix taking Gilmore Girls and giving us a look at where everyone has been since the series ended. “A Year in the Life” premiers on November 25, 2016.
My mom got me the whole series as a gift and then she sat with me over a summer watching them. It was fun getting to share a story of a mother daughter who are incredibly close with my mom now.

Gilmore girls premiered October 5, 2000, but I didn’t get into it until I was in college and I think I was more receptive to that relationship dynamic. In high school, I was not as close to my mom as I am now. We were never really friends until I got out of the house and finally saw that she only had the best interest for me when I was younger.
For Rory and Lorelai that connection was always there. But, you saw the strain between Emily and Lorelai and I think in my life I’ve had both with my mom.
I’m so excited to see where Rory, Lorelai, Luke, Lane, Paris, Sookie, and everyone have been up to. The story is set up into four 90-minute episodes and each episode covers a seasons; winter, spring, summer, and fall.
