Good Idea - Bad Idea ?

You’ve probably seen the Pinterest fails and so I decided to start my own series “Good Idea – Bad Idea”. This is my version of the Pinterest fails.

The first recipe I tried was to make appetizer tacos. Surprisingly, it turned out very well and went quicker than I thought.

Step 1 was to make the taco meat like I normally do. Hamburger meat, seasoning, browning in a pan.

Step 2 was to cut out the size shells to make in my mini muffin tin. For me since I’m lacking on cookie cutter, I used a mason jar and cut them out that way. Turned out perfect size.

Step 3. Once the meat was cooked, I put a small spoonful of meat into each shell and topped with grated cheese.

Step 4. I put them in the over at 350 degrees for about 7 minutes. Long enough to melt the cheese and harden the shells into shape.

Step 5. I took them out and put them on a plate to cool.

Step 6. I topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream. Just a tip for those looking to try at home as well, make sure the lettuce and tomatoes are dices finely. I did them the size I do for normal tacos and had a little trouble actually getting them to stay on the appetizer tacos.

Step 7. Enjoy.

So decision – Good Idea!!!
